4. Hackintosh Build:

  • LINK (Youtube video. Specifically states requires 10.6.4 update. Apple.boot.plist editing required and installation of ATI 5700 series .kext required. Run video card in VESA mode then edit as needed, might be easier to install on a MOBO with a video card inbuilt and then disable from bios while installing 5770.)
  • Done via “using multibeast 2.1.4 install” (on reference to wiki page)

  • LINK (This guys points out 2 main problems he had. NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU BUY A OPTICAL DRIVE RECOGNIZED BY MAC! USE A SIMPLE DVD DL ONE! I have rarely heard of issues with optical drives to begin with.)

  2. Hi there, I think your site – Hardware Hackintosh Tutorial. Make your own Mac. might be having browser compatibility problems. Whenever I take a look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in IE, it’s got some overlapping issues. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Aside from that, wonderful blog!
